Kohlberg's Stage of Ethical Reasoning
Inditex falls under Kohlberg's fifth stage of ethical reasoning, which is post-conventional social contract driven. This is defined as when "A person is focused on individual rights and the development of standards based on critical examination---that is, something is right or wrong because it has withstood scrutiny by the society in which the principle is accepted" (Ghillyer 12).
This is shown in the manner Indiex treats its employees and conducts business practices. They have set protocol to make sure textiles are being handled ethically, as shown by the Vidya Project. Furthermore, they hold their employees to a very high moral standard.
